Arrival & Departure & Car Parking Facilities
Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be sure we are here to welcome you.
To ensure your accommodation is ready, we ask that guests do not normally arrive before 3pm, earlier arrival, may be possible by arrangement.
Kitchen is complete with a Fridge/freezer, Microwave oven, Dish washer, Pots, crockery and cutlery.
A selection of local information, maps and magazines are available in the dining room.
Departure time is 10.00am but can be delayed if arranged with proprietor on arrival.
On arrival, we ask all guests to call at our front entrance No 10, Langrick Road. This is the bungalow to the right of the Guest House. From our front gate, there is a concrete pathway leading to our entrance porch. This is all level walking.
Please step inside and ring the doorbell. The entrance has 24hr lighting. From the gravelled parking area you can use the side entrance to the bungalow this does have 1 step 7 inches high into the entrance porch.
Parking at the Guest house (No 12) is a gravelled area in front of the property. Would guests with walking aids and who would prefer to use the concrete standing, please park in front of the garage doors. A concrete path surrounds the property. Once you have been booked in we can assist you and advise the best place for you to park your car.
Generally your marked parking space is your room Number.
We are happy to offer assistance with luggage.
Public Areas - General (Internal)
Downstairs one room leads directly into the next.
Once inside the building there are no steps on the ground floor.
There is a flight of 13 stairs to the first floor.
1 side of the stairs features a handrail and the stairs are fully carpeted. Once upstairs there are no more steps.
There is a French door from the dining room which leads into the enclosed garden. This is 7 inch step down, or up if re-entering the dining room.
Enclosed Garden with bench seating and Barbeque.

WC available on the ground floor.
Kitchen Self-Catering Kitchen
Breakfast is served in the mornings,
The kitchen facilities are available after 12 noon for guests to use.
Please consult with the proprietor.
Kitchen is fitted with a gas cooker, Fridge/freezer, Microwave oven, Dish washer, Pots and pans, crockery and cutlery.
Breakfasts are served in the Dining room, which is carpeted.
A varied full English breakfast is served or a Continental breakfast if requested.
A selection of local information, maps and magazines are available in the dining room and a selection of books and videos.
A push button intercom connects with the proprietor’s home. This facility is to be used with respect.

If you would like to use a telephone please see the proprietor at No 10.
Mobile phone reception is generally fine but in some of the surrounding areas there is no signal.
Facilities available on request.
The nearest is 800m away (co-op) 8am till 10pm.
Asda is a 10 mins walk and is open 24hrs.
There is a newsagents 5 mins walk.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC (Shared)
The first floor has a Shared Bathroom, consisting of Bath, Shower & WC with Wash basin.
We have four guest bedrooms on the first floor
And one family room on the ground floor.
The bedrooms on the first floor and are carpeted throughout.
There are en suite facilities in one twin room consisting of a shower, WC and wash basin.
The other twin room has en suite facilities consisting of a WC and wash basin.
Both single rooms have a wash basin within the room.
A shared bathroom on the landing has a shower, bath and toilet facilities.
Tea and coffee making facilities, generous welcome trays are provided in all rooms, also daily clean towels are available.
Televisions are provided with free view digital channels.
We also can provide a hair dryer on request.
Our beds are made with synthetic duvets.
All pillows are made of synthetic materials.
Extra pillows, blankets, towels are available upon request.
On the ground floor consists of:
1 fold away full size single,
A table & chairs for private dining,
Microwave, Fridge, cutlery & crockery is provided.
Private Fire- door access to the main Kitchen.
This room has private en-suite facilities: consisting of toilet, shower and hand basin. Access is via private entrance from the car park where there is a 7 inch step, into the kitchenette.
There is a folder in each bedroom which contains further information about the area and details of emergency contacts including doctors and hospitals.
On arrival please take time to look at & read fire notices in the rooms.
Also a range of information leaflets in the dining room.
There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and another at the top of the stairs.
A fire blanket is kept in the kitchen.
In the event of a fire, the automated alarm will ring and is also directly connected to the proprietors residence. (No 10)
Please leave the building as quickly as possible should the alarm sound.
Please advise us if you have a hearing impairment and might not hear the alarms.
The upstairs rooms can be evacuated via the door at the bottom of the stairs.
Downstairs family room should exit via the front door.
If you are in the dining room please exit via the door at the foot of the stairs.
We do not permit smoking in the house, but you may smoke in our garden. Please request an ash tray.
Please inform us of any special diets or any particular likes or dislikes.

We are happy to refrigerate any medication.
We can also keep any of your food in the fridges in the kitchen during your stay.
Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment
Are all available in the vicinity 5 mins by car.
The nearest sports bar, pool hall, squash, badminton courts, football & cricket pitches are 5-10 mins walk, there is a footbridge at the bottom of the street. 10 mins by car to these facilities.
Nearer to town we have children’s swings, slides etc.
Athletic stadium, rowing club & tennis club all 5 mins by car.
